For the 4th straight year A Room Full Of Sound returns, displaying some of the most diverse and best music the Foothills has to offer.

The first of five concert series goes Saturday at the Okotoks Rotary Performing Arts Centre.

A Room Full Of Sound Coordinator Rick Harding says the first group performing will be a little bit country.

"Local talent living down in Longview, they're called Over The Moon," he says. "A lot of local people know one half of this group anyway, Susanne Levesque who is the bass player for The Travelling Mabels and her new husband Craig Bignell who actually plays percussion for Susan Aglukark."

Harding says he can't say enough about Craig and Susanne's combined talents.

"They are fantastic," he says. "I got a chance to see them both separately a number of times, but I got a chance to see them both perform live down at Longstock down in Longview a couple weeks ago, and fabulous harmonies, some great banjo playing and guitar playing."

Harding says when heading to watch Saturday, don't expect your usual country concert.

"Well they call themselves an acoustic roots duel," he says. "So they play a little bit of kind of blue grassy stuff, country stuff and all kinds of stuff in between and really hard to nail down what genre they might be but a broad range of music."

The doors open at 6:30, the concert opens at 7 and tickets are $30.
