High River's 7-Eleven has been placed on lockdown after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

It is being recommended that anyone who visited the convenience store between March 29th - April 10th take the Government of Alberta's self-assessment test.

The store has been closed for cleaning and will re-open on the 25th of April.

A notice has been posted in the store's door informing customers of the reason for the temporary closure.

The Post Reads:

"This store is closed for cleaning, will re-open on or before April 25th

"The health and safety of our customers, employees and the communities we serve are the top priority for 7-Eleven Canada. We have a team member with a confirmed case of COVID-19 at this store.

We have temporarily closed the store to thoroughly clean and sanitize the location. We are asking STAFF to self-isolate per the provincial guidelines.

We would ask any customer that may have visited the store between March 29- April 10th to complete the COVID-19 Online Self-Assessment tool and find out more information on actions you can take to protect yourself and others."
