The 100 Women Who Care Foothills has done it again.

At their meeting Thursday, November 3rd, the ladies gave back to the community once again by picking their next charity to donate to.

With three organizations to chose from after a very touching presentation Founder Karen Love says they narrowed it down to Adele's Over The Rainbow Baskets.

"They are based in I believe High River and what they do is provide baskets for families who have just given birth to babies with down syndrome. So basically baskets with gift cards, blankets, just anything that family might need when they feel how they feel when they get that diagnosis of their baby having down syndrome, so it"s like a comfort basket."

Love says part of the decision was based on the fact that 100 Women Who Care had never seen this work done in the Foothills area.

"It was just such a good night and I think there was a lot of tears in the room when the lady did her presentation and I think it really tugged at our heart strings. Especially a group of women and a group of moms as most of them probably have kids. And on top of that such a unique charity, there is no other agency that would do stuff like that. It's just that warm fuzzy feeling that they can give to the families."

Love and the 48 members will be donating close to $4,500 to Adele's Over The Rainbow Baskets within the next month.

If anyone that is interested in donating and is not a member yet they can check out the 100 Women Who Care Facebook page.
