The Fort McMurray Oil Barons have the Okotoks Oilers number this season as they edged them 3-2 Thursday, November 30, in Fort Mac.

It's the second win for the Oil Barons over the Oilers this year, as the Oil Barons dumped the Oilers 4-2 in Okotoks, back on October 13.

The Oilers got off to a good start in this one, with Carter Huber staking the Oilers to a 1-0 lead 6:26 into the first period.

The Oil Barons tied it up late in the first period, before taking the lead with a short handed goal 11:55 into the second.

Kyle Gordon tied it up for the Oilers on the power play just over five minutes later, but the Oil Barons would get the winner 6:26 into the third period with the Barons Merritt Oszytko beating Riley Morris.

The Oilers out shot the host Oil Barons 42-22 on the night.

The Oilers make their way to Bonnyville, Friday, December 1, to take on the Pontiacs.

Then it's off to Lloydminster Saturday, December 2, to face the Bobcats.
