The Okotoks Oilers had a tough loss last night in Olds and they were on the wrong end of a 3 to 2 ending against the Grizzlies.

It is the second loss in a row for the team that is having a stellar season with 16 wins, three loses and one overtime for a total of 33 points.

Player Nick Blankenburg says the team knows what to do.

"We just got to stick to our game plan," said Blankenburg. " I feel like in the second we got off track there. We just have to play a full 60 minutes. That kind of falls on us and if we are playing a hot goalie we have to find a way to get past it."

He added they need to bear down on their chances.

"We have to take every game as if it is the most important of the season. That comes with gripping the stick a little too tight and we have to bear down on our chances."

They are off to battle the Brooks Bandits November 49th and are home on November 14th when the Calgary Mustangs come to town.

Game time is 7 p.m.
