The Okotoks Oilers racked up six goals in the second period to beat the Eagles 6-2 Tuesday, December 5, in Canmore.

Cole Basnett started the onslaught, followed by Kyle Gordon, back-to-back unassisted goals from Ben Sanderson, Quinn Olson and Tanner Laderoute with 21 second left in the second were the goal scorers.

The Oilers had 54 shots in the game, with just 16 in the second period.

They're back home Friday, December 8, to take on the Drayton Valley Thunder.
