It took a shootout for the Okotoks Oilers to put away the Bonnyville Pontiacs Friday, November 24th at the Pason Centennial Arena.

In the end they earned a 3 to 2 win.

Ben Howard was in net for the Oilers he faced 29 shots while the Pontiacs faced 49.

"I'll give their goalie props he definitely held them in it. When we shot numbers like that usually we are going to put a lot of pucks in the net. So that is good to see, but I think we can still create more second and thirds to help score more," said Howard.

Next up they are on the road to play in Olds against the Grizzlies on Sunday, November 26th, puck drops at 7 p.m.
