The Okotoks Oilers kick off a four game road trip starting Tuesday, January 23 in Banff against the Canmore Eagles.

Coach Tyler Deis says the Oilers can't afford to be lazy against the low flying Eagles.

"We've got to be disciplined going in there and try and play a five-on-five game, and no give them those extra opportunities on the power play. So, that's kind of our game plan going in there."

Deis says the Eagles are a well coached team with a strong power play, so they need to stay out of the penalty box to come out with the two points.

The Oilers hit the road this weekend for three straight against Grande Prairie, Whitecourt and Sherwood Park.
