The Okotoks Oilers kick off three games in three nights up north Thursday, November 8, as they take in the Storm in Grande Prairie.

The Oilers have really come on of late, winning eight of their last 10, moving up to third in the AJHL South Division, with second place Drumheller square in their sights.

Oilers Coach Tyler Deis says they've worked out some of their early season problems.

"I thought we were playing pretty well. It's just you know we were giving up too many power play goals. So, we needed to just concentrate a little bit on our penalty kill, which we have. Definitely the guys are, in all facets of the game, playing well."

The Oilers head to Whitecourt to face the Wolverines Friday, November 9 and Drayton Valley Saturday, November 10 to take on the Thunder.
