The Okotoks Oilers won 4 to 2, over the Calgary Canucks, but it wasn't pretty Friday, Janurary 19th at the Centennial Arena.

Defense Nick Blankenburg says the team really needs to play for a full 60 minutes heading into the final games of the season.

"I think we have to have better starts and start playing full 60s," said Blankenburg. "We have 17 games left and we've got to play every game as if it is a playoff game from here on out."

As they host the oliers host the Drumheller Dragons tonight, Janurary 20th, if they have a slow start it will be game over.

"We really got to come out hard and have a a good first. If we have a first we had tonight tonight, it's not going to be the same outcome.  We need to have a good first and play a full 60."

Game time is 7 p.m. at the Pason Centennial Arena.
