Okotoks Oilers forward Dylan Holloway will be packing his bags for Sweden.

The dynamic 17 year-old forward will represent Team Canada at the 2019 Under 18 World Hockey Championships.

Holloway, who hails from Bragg Creek, led the Oilers with 40 goals, 48 assists, and 88 points in 53 games this regular season. He also led the Oilers with nine goals in their most recent playoff run.

Holloway will join Okotoks native Peyton Krebs, who was named captain of the Canadian squad earlier this week.

Team Canada will open the tournament Thursday, April 18 against Finland. They will look to earn their first gold medal in the tournament since 2013.
