The Okotoks Oilers got back into the win column with a 3-2 overtime win over the visiting Brooks Bandits Sunday, October 15, at the Pason Centennial Arena.

It's the third straight win for the Oilers over the Bandits this season, but Oilers forward Jacob Bernard Docker says it wasn't easy.

"We know Brooks is just getting better. So our mind set coming into the game was it was going to be a lot tougher than the first two games of the season. We were saying to ourselves, good teams don't lose two games in a row, so we were ready for the game. They were great competitors, but thankfully we came out on top."

Austin Wong got the winner for the Oilers.

The Oilers are in Calgary Tuesday, October 17, to battle the Mustangs.

They beat the Mustangs 7-1 at the Father David Bauer Arena, last week in their first meeting of the season.
