The Okotoks Oilers and Brooks Bandits kick off the AJHL pre-season Friday, August 31, as they hook up at the Centennial Arena in Okotoks.

Even though it's a pre-season game, the Bandits already know they'll be at the RBC Cup this year, as they're hosting it, which means they're going to have a pretty stacked line-up.

Something Oilers Coach Tyler Deis, is well aware of heading in.

"Every year this is going to be one of the top teams we face off against. It's no different this year. They have until January 10th to make sure that they put the best team together they possibly can for the RBC and you know, this is just the beginning of it."

They drop the puck at 7 o'clock.
