For the second night in a row the Okotoks Oilers battled in overtime.

And for the second night in a row it ended with the visitors leaving with the victory.

The Oilers lost out in a shootout 7 to 6 to the Calgary Cancuks September 9th at the Scott Seaman Arena.

They also lost in overtime 3 to 2 to the Mustangs on Friday night leaving them with a 1 and 4 record on the preseason.

The Oilers open the regular season Friday night when they host the Brooks Bandits at Centennial Arena puck drops at 7 p.m.
