A big weekend for local rugby teams as they're at the Calgary Rugby Union Fields for the Clearwater Cup 7's Tournament.

They've had good success over the years.

The Foothills Falcons Senior Boys won the silver medal last year.

The Holy Trinity Academy Knights took the senior boys title in 2015 and the Highwood Mustangs girls, who should be favourites again this year, won gold back in 2014, in the first year the tournament welcomed a girls division.

Thursday, May 10, the Mustangs girls took one on the chin, losing 27-5 to Banff, while the boys came out on the losing end of a 40-17 score to Springbank.
