The Okotoks Bow Mark "AAA" Midget Oilers head into the Mac's Major Midget Hockey Tournament wanting to win, but knowing it won't be easy.

The Oilers are the seventh place team in the Alberta Midget Hockey League's South Division heading into the tournament, but at 12-8-and-4 and with 28 points they aren't too far behind the leaders.

Captain, Joel Krahenbil, says this really is a tournament any team can win.

"Particularly in a tournament like this, you can get hot at certain times and just get that confidence and momentum and obviously anything can happen."

The Oilers face the Greater Vancouver Canadians in their opener Boxing Day at 12:45pm at Max Bell.
