Dan McIntosh must be feeling a little snake bit these days.

Tuesday, July 25, at the "Mile High Shoot Out" World Long Drive Championships in Denver, Colorado, the River's Edge Assistant Pro slammed a ball 479 yards, only to watch as the number two player in the world Ryan Reisbeck, hit one six yards past him at 485.

The same thing happened to McIntosh back in June in Mesquite, Nevada, where he made the TV round for the first time only to fall short by a couple of yards to Orlando, Florida's Tim Burke.

However, McIntosh did reach a goal this year of making it to the TV rounds, which he's done twice.
