It's going to be a busy couple of days at the Turner Valley Golf and Country Club this weekend as the Canadian Junior Golf Association is holding a tournament there.

Head Pro Cory Seaman says Greenskeeper Gary McGonigle hasn't done anything to make the course super tough for the kids.

"No he does a regular set-up. Our golf course is tough to hit the greens sometimes, so it's actually not a bad set up for differentiating between the kids. The greens are small, so there's a lot of chipping into the greens and hopefully you make that one putt to keep your score going."

Seaman says don't let their ages fool you, these kids can really play.

"We had a girl here this week and some of the members were quite in awe, because they're playing the same tee boxes as the young lady and they were actually taken aback by what a good golfer she was."

In all about 40 junior boys and girls golfers from 12-to-17 years old will be taking part in the tournament Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10.
