Most prognosticators are picking the Toronto Blue Jays to be a middle of the pack team this year as Major League Baseball gets going this season.

Okotoks Dawgs Managing Director John Ircandia says they might surprise people.

"Although they don't have that meat in the middle of their order anymore, losing Bautista and then last year Encarnacion. Everybody's in love with their young pitching staff. I just don't know, you know. Pitching wins and if their guys are all healthy, and Stroman's healthy, Sanchez is healthy and you've got Happ and Estrada, if they can be as good as they've been at their best the last couple of years, then who knows?"

The Jays open their season at home against the New York Yankees.
