High River chuckwagon driver Jason Glass is at a bit of a loss as to why attendance has dipped over the last few years at Guy Weadick Days.

He says he remembers when the traffic to get into the Ag grounds was backed up to the highway.

"I do remember when I was a kid, it was hard to get in here and it was hard to see because there were so many people. It was a ton of fun. So somehow we've got to get it out there again and get the whole neighbourhood to come out and watch the wagons."

Glass says there's more people living in the area than ever before, it's just getting them to come take part that's proving to be tough.
