The High River Flyers are back on home ice Friday, December 7, as they host the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

The Flyers are coming off a big 2-1 overtime win over Cochrane last weekend, and Coach Colten Hayes, says the Wheaties may be ripe for the picking.

"Strathmore's kind of having a little bit of a tough time. I saw their game against Ponoka, they lost that one. They lost another one a couple of days ago. You know, I think they're up for grabs, they've got a couple of guys hurt as well."

They hit the ice at 8 o'clock at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.

The Okotoks Bisons open their home and home with the Cochrane Generals at 8 o'clock at the Murray Arena.

And the Lomond Lakers are home as well, as they host Blackfalds starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Bassano Arena.
