The High River Flyers had a battle on their hands last night as they took on the Coaldale Copperheads at the Rec-plex in game two of their best of five Heritage Juniopr Hockey League playoffs.

They jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead in the first period, adding one more in the third.

The Copperheads added a single in the second period and three in the third but it wasn't enough to ever get the lead.

Singles from Evan Pakkala, Connor Taylor, Michael McTighe, and two from Davis Sheldon ensured the win.

The team is back in Coaldale tonight at 8:30 p.m. for game three of the best of five series.
