High River's Jordie Fike is seeing some pretty good success so far this chuckwagon season.

Fike jumped up a couple of spots to 13th in the World Standings after a pretty good show in Medicine Hat last weekend, and says he wants to just keep moving up, heading into the biggest races of the year.

"We're starting to really run and I'm hoping that it carries through when the money gets big in Ponoka and Calgary especially. Just hoping the timing is right and that the horses keep running and they just doing what they've been doing. A little luck and you never know where a guy might be now."

Fike and the rest of the Wagons are in High River for Guy Weadick Days starting Thursday, June 21.
