A nice feather in the cap of Okotoks Pee-Wee Eagles Football Coach, Tim Henderson, as he's been named the Football Alberta Pee-Wee Coach of the Year.

Henderson says his team showed great improvement over the season, but it's not all about winning.

"We set goals at the beginning of the season for us as coaches to develop the kids. But to the kids, go in and put in 100 per cent effort. You can learn from wins and losses. Sure, the kids want to win, but it's not all about winning for sure."

Henderson will get his award during the festivities at the Senior Bowl in Edmonton in May.
