The Okotoks Oilers head to Brooks tonight to take on the Bandits in the first of a seven game series AJHL South Division Finals.

Oilers Coach, Tyler Deis says the team has grown over the season, and he has a lot of faith in them, as they do in themselves.

"We're really excited about the growth of our team throughout the year. There were some ups and downs, but I really feel that they grew together and grew as a group, and they definitely believe in that locker room," he said.

The Bandits are the top Junior A team in Canada, however, Deis says the Oilers have a good chance if they just stay structured and strong.

"There's areas of our game that we're good at, and we just gotta make sure that we stay to our structure and stay strong mentally. I think if we do those things, it gives us a good chance," he said.

Games one and two of the seven game series go tonight and tomorrow in Brooks, with games three and four back in Okotoks on Monday and Tuesday.
