The Okotoks Dawgs win streak came to an end as they started their road trip Sunday night in Medicine Hat.

The Dawgs (24-11) lost to the Mavericks (19-17) with a final score of 18-10.

Before the loss, the Dawgs had won seven straight since July 4.

For Okotoks, Eddie Sanchez, Matt Lloyd, Zach Hanna, and Darius Foster led the pack with multi-hit days while Kody Funderburk drove in two in the loss.

The boys are on the road to Yorkton, Saskatchewan where they'll face the Cardinals Tuesday night.
