The Okotoks Dawgs split their two game series with a win on Canada Day, and then a 17-6 loss yesterday against the Swift Current 57's.

Assistant Coach, Dave Robb says the loss was greatly due to a lack of leadership in that game.

“[Saturday] Anthony Balderas went out and pitched well and that kind of set the tone for everybody. Whereas today, it didn’t happen. A dropped fly ball in the first and they got a couple .. they put up a lot of crooked numbers.”

Kody Funderburk hit another blast over the wall yesterday to add another two runs to the Dawgs board, but it just wasn't enough.

The Dawgs will try to gain a win against the Weyburn Beavers tonight.

First pitch at Seaman Stadium will go at 7:05 P.M.
