Make it five straight for the Okotoks Dawgs as they held off a late charge in Swift Current to edge the 57's, 9-7.

The Dawgs made the most of their chances getting their nine runs on 11 hits, but their pitchers gave up four home runs to the 57's on the night.

The Dawgs now head to Medicine Hat for a pair of games Wednesday, June 13 and Thursday, June 14.

They and the Mavericks are tied for the WMBL West Division lead with 7-and-2 records.

The Dawgs are back home Friday, June 15 to face the Brooks Bombers.
