A heartbreaking loss for the Holy Trinity Academy Knights football squad last night.

They fell 33-0 to the Composite Falcons in the Big Rock Football League final at Knights Field.

It was the Falcons show as they jumped to a 30-0 lead by halftime, and an unstoppable defense forced seven turnovers.

A different outcome than what was expected as the Knights were favoured heading into the match after a perfect 5-0 season.

The Falcons on the other hand, went into the match with a 4-3 record.

The Falcons will host a Southern Alberta playoff game next Saturday, Nov. 4 at home, while the Knights will pack it in for the season.

This is the second straight Big Rock title for the Comp, who beat HTA in 2016 as well.
