The Willow Creek Cobras are moving on in the High School Football Playoffs.

The Willow Creek Cobras got past the W.R. Meyers Rebels 27-13 at home Saturday, November 4.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday, November 3, but was postponed for a day because of the weather.

Coach Tim Bryson says they got up 21-0 early and then held on from there.

"Myers just hung around, they returned a kick off for a touchdown. We managed to score once more in the second half. But, you know they're a good football team, they're ranked number two in the Province. And that's a good win, by 14 points."

The Cobras face the Canmore Wolverines this Saturday, November 11 in Clarehsolm, while the Falcons play their semi-final match-up this Saturday at home as well against an as yet to be determined opponent.

The Cobras hung a 30-0 beating on the Wolverines three weeks ago in their regular season match-up in Calgary, but Bryson says he's expecting a much different team this time out.
