A 34-7 loss to Taber Friday, November 2 in zone football playoffs, doesn't mean the end of the season for the Willow Creek Cobras.

Coach Tim Bryson says they get a second life Saturday, November 10, in Canmore against the Wolverines.

"The Region One South Zone, gets two byes into Provincials. So, that was for Zone banner bragging rights, which was a big deal for Taber, as well as a number one seed and a home game this weekend. So we get the number two seed and we're on the road in Canmore."

Coach Tim Bryson says it's not a first for the Cobras and Timberwolves.

"A couple of times in the last couple of years we've wound up facing each other in this particular first round. And we've had good success against them in both the playoffs and the regular season. But, I think these guys are a little tougher than they've been in the past."

Now, if the Cobras can win that game and the Fighting Rebels knock off Drumheller, the two teams will meet for the third time this season in the Tier IV semi-finals the following weekend in Lethbridge.
