The Okotoks Bisons avoided the sweep at home Monday, March 12, with a 3-2 win over the Coaldale Copperheads in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League South Division final.

It didn't look good for the Bisons early as they were down 2-0 midway through the second period.

The Bisons got back into it on the power play late in the period, then tied it up with 7:10 to go in the third on a short handed goal from Kyle Harrison, before Nick Murrell put them ahead to stay even strength, at the 15:29 mark of the third period.

The Bisons, who trail three games to one in the best of seven series, will look to keep it going Wednesday, March 14, when they head to Coaldale for game five.
