The High River Flyers got back on their horse this weekend, winning both of their games.

8-0 over the Thrashers in Three Hills Saturday, November 3, and then 4-3 in the shoot-out Sunday, November 4, in Blackfalds over the Wranglers.

The Flyers move into fifth spot in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League's South Division with a 6-9-and-2 record, good for 14 points and a tie with the Cochrane Generals, just three points back of the third place Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

The Okotoks Bisons fell 5-4 in the shoot-out Sunday in Medicine Hat, in their lone game of the weekend.

The Bisons are still the division leaders at 11-2-and-2, four points up on the second place Coaldale Copperheads.

And the Lomond Lakers dropped all three of their games, 8-2 Friday in Airdrie, 6-1 to Stettler Saturday in Claresholm and 3-1 to the Generals Sunday in Cochrane.

The Lakers are in last place in the South at 4-and-10.
