Make it two years in a row for Dewberry's Kurt Bensmiller, who had the fast time of the day, which was enough to give him the aggregate title for High River's Guy Weadick Days chuckwagon title for the second straight year.

Bensmiller says he gets some help from a High River driver, which he says makes a difference.

"I like coming here to High River and Jordie Fike lets me stay out there in Blackie. So I mean it's great. I've got great sponsors here great fan support, just because of Jordie and his family and everybody that travels with him. Coming here and winning is always fun and exciting and hopefully something that will continue for the next couple of weeks."

The wagons now pack up and head up highway Two, to Ponoka to start the Stampede there Wednesday.

And a couple of local cowboys took the title at the Guy Weadick Days rodeo.
