The annual "Battle of Okotoks" is heating up as the Holy Trinity Academy Knights and the Comp Falcons duke it out Friday, September 21, on the football field.

Knights Coach Matt Hassett says it's a fan favourite.

"It's probably one of the biggest games on our schedule. It's going to be a lot of fun. Last year's game (At the Comp), there's so many people out and it's a really great atmosphere. It's really what high school football is all about."

Both teams come into the game with 2-and-1 records and Hassett, says that makes the game worth even more to the winner.

"You know we're both in the top 10, and sometimes unfortunately we're both in the same league. So, it's going to be a great battle. You know, they're still the defending champs and until somebody knocks them off, they're still that."

Game time is 7 o'clock Friday, under the lights at Knights Field in Okotoks.
