Not the kind of start the Okotoks Eagles wanted as they lifted the lid on the 2017 Calgary and area Bantam Football League regular season.

The Eagles lost out 39-0 to the Cowboys Grey team Saturday.

The locals go up against the Hilltoppers Saturday September 2, at 3 p.m. at Shouldice Park.

The Hilltoppers also droped their opener 31-22 to the Rebels.
