Calgary Stampeder wide receiver Anthony Parker will no longer be wearing the Red and White.

Parker was released from the Stamps Sunday June 10th on the CFL deadline for final rosters.

Parker, #86, played seven seasons with the team playing 108 regular season games and seven playoff games including three Grey Cup appearances and was part of the championship team in 2014.

In high school Parker played in Okotoks for the Foothills Composite Falcons then moved on to play for the U of C Dino's before being drafted in 2011 by the Stampeders in the first round, third overall.

Parker also recently signed a two year deal with the Stamps in February of this year just hours before he was eligible for free agency.

John Hufnagel, Stamps president and general manager said "These are always very difficult decisions, especially when it's someone who has been with the club for so long and has contributed so much on and off the field.  I thank Anthony for everything he has done for the football club and wish him all the best for the future whether he chooses to continue playing football or focus on his real-estate career."

Over the past seven seasons, Parker had 178 catches for 2, 245 yards including 15 touchdowns.
