The Lomond Lakers have a tough weekend coming up.

They're riding a five game losing streak and then play back to back games Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1, against the Coaldale Copperheads before wrapping up the weekend Sunday, December 2, in Cochrane against the Generals.

Coach Mike Glawson says they sure don't like to do things the easy way.

"You hit the nail on the head there, we don't want to have to do things easy. And the scheduling definitely hasn't been in our favour this year as far as that stuff goes, with a bunch of three (games) in three (nights) weekends. But I mean battling a little bit of adversity only makes you stronger."

Friday's game is an 8 o'clock start at the Claresholm Arena.
