Suspect arrested after shelter in place order in Champion

Vulcan RCMP asked the residents of Champion, Alberta to shelter in place Sunday afternoon (Sept. 24). They were trying to locate 39-year-old Tyler Trodden, one of three suspects wanted on warrants connected to a home invasion in Coleman last week. The home invasion occurred on Sept. 16, with five suspects entering a home with weapons. They're alleged to have assaulted a male and a female at the residence, with another resident also attacked upon returning home during the incident. It's believed to have been a targeted home invasion. Crowsnest Pass RCMP notified the public of the warrants on September 23, advising that Trodden could be in the Vulcan area. He was arrested without incident in Champion Sunday afternoon. A judicial hearing will determine if he'll be granted bail, and a court date has yet to be set. Two suspects from the home invasion have now been arrested, with two still at large and one unidentified. The two wanted suspects are: Robert Dwyer, possibly in the area of Pincher Creek. He is described as: light complexion 6’0” (183 cm) height 165 lbs (75 kg) weight Brown eyes Brown hair Aaron Thompson, possibly in the Pincher Creek area. He is described as: light complexion 5’10” (178 cm) height 294 lbs (134 kg) weight Hazel eyes Brown hair
