Okotoks Dawgs 

Okotoks

The Dawgs have a home-and-home series lined up with the Brooks Bombers on Friday and Saturday night.

Dawgs play host to the Bombers on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. at Seaman's stadium with the final game of the regular season in Brooks on Saturday.

The Dawgs record is at 41-16, the best in Western Canada, heading into the final weekend before playoffs start on Monday, August 8.

 

Toddle Down to the Art Gallery

It’s hard to make time for art and culture when you’re chasing after a toddler but we have an opportunity that doesn’t require you to choose! Come down to the Okotoks Art Gallery for a morning of fun. Enjoy exhibitions as you enjoy a number of activity and crafting stations. Outdoor water stations will be included if weather allows. Recommended ages 1 – 5. Space is limited. Pre-Registration recommended.

 

 

Millarville 130th Celebration 

Millarville 

At 1 P.M. we will be celebrating the 130th year of the Millarville General Store and Post Office at the Millarville Racetrack Hall. Members of the original families that have held the position of Postmaster and owners will be reminiscing as to their tenure in Millarville. There will be photo displays and artifacts for you to peruse.

We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating this occasion.

 

Delirium Street Party Brass Show

High River Brewing Co. - High River

Taking place at the High River Brewing Co. is Calgary-based brass band Delirium Street Party Brass.  

We are an 11 piece band that plays originals and covers spanning pop, ska, funk and brass band repertoire that is truly all ages and reaches a wide audience of listeners.  The instrumentation features 2 vocalists, saxophones, trumpet, trombone, vibraphone, sousaphone and 3 percussion players.  We are on a little weekend tour and have this show set for Friday night at 6:00 pm at the High River Brewing Company’s outdoor stage.
