The Okotoks Oilers defeated the Grande Prairie Storm Saturday night 10-1 at the Pason Centennial Arena. The Oilers came out early getting three goals in the first period, two in the second and five in the third.

Cooper Page on the Oilers scored two goals during the game and both were on the power play.

Page says that they took they chances they were given.

"We got both of our goals in with a penalty and I think that's what we need. We need our special teams and it will help us in the long run," Page says.

While last night was a good game for the Oilers they know that this upcoming Thursday's game against the Brooks Bandits won't be as easy.

Page says that they are a fast team that knows how to move the puck, and the Oilers have to be able to keep up to win.

"We all need to buy into our systems and we have to get everyone going in the line up."

Last night Matt McNair got a hat trick and the win was GM and head coach James Pooles 200th.
