A slew of crashes this morning.

RCMP and fire services were called out to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash southbound on Highway 2 just south of Parkland, south of Nanton around 11:00 this morning.

With the snow icing up the highways, you'll need to leave early if you're headed anywhere today.

According to 511 Alberta, roads across central and southern Alberta are snow-covered and slippery.

Snowplows are clearing Highway 2 but some of the secondary highways including Highway 22 have more snow-covered sections.

And if you had plans to travel to K-Country today they could see upwards of 30 cm of snow.
