There's a list of requirements folks should be aware of if they are hoping to catch some of the action at this year's Masters CSIO 5 event at Spruce Meadows.

They're only allowing up to 2,000 fans per day, and each has to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as well as government-issued ID.

Approved vaccines include two doses of Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, an AstraZeneca combination, or one dose of J&J.

There will also be temperature checks at the entrance.

Masks are required for all indoor locations and in concession lineups, and children 12 and under have to wear a mask.

Staff will be masked, and they also suggest that visitors keep their masks on while in the stands unless they are taking them off to eat or drink.

Tickets are $25, with advanced ticket sales only and no tickets available for sale at the gate.

Tickets are required for all individuals regardless of age.

Pets are not allowed at any events in 2021.

There will be no assigned seating, and fans are only able to sit in the southwest and west grandstands, with distancing encouraged.

Doors open at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

There won't be any fireworks this time around.

Foreign nationals will be allowed to compete as permitted under the National Interest Exemption that Spruce Meadows was able to obtain for their events in September this year.
