UPDATE: Train derails just south of Aldersyde

UPDATE:

The situation is all cleared up and the train is back on tracks.

Early this morning a train derailed just south of Aldersyde by the intersection of 434 Ave. S.

It's about halfway between Sprung Structures and the Cargill plant between Highway 2 and 2A.

Only one car derailed, and it appears minor.

Only one car derailed.

Crews are working on separating the cars to allow traffic through the seldom used intersection.

Once that's complete the rest of the 150 cars are expected to be back on track.
