A new scam call has been reported by an Okotoks resident.

According to a release from the Town of Okotoks, a resident received a call from (825) 994-5357, requesting credit card information from a grocery pickup.

The town is reminding Okotokians that providing personal or financial info over the phone can result in identity theft or fraud, and that new scams are always being perpetrated.

They also included the Okotoks RCMP's complaint line: (403) 938-4202.
