The Town of High River is wishing its residents a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.

Residents may notice some closures over the holidays as even Town Employees are taking a break this Christmas.

Town Hall will be closed from Friday, Dec. 24 to Sunday, Jan. 2.

Town Parks and Recreation Facilities such as the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex will be closed at 4 p.m. on December 24th and will not re-open until December 27th. They will close down facilities again for the New Year as of 4 p.m. on December 31st and re-open January 2nd.

The Recycling Centre will be closed from December 24th - December 26th and again on January 1st and 2nd.

While Fire and RCMP services will be continued during Christmas Holidays their buildings will be closed to the public as administrative staff are taking a break from Dec 24th until December 27th. They will celebrate the New Year by closing again as of December 31st and re-opening on January 3rd.

The Operations Centre will be closed from December 24th - December 27th and January 3rd.

Lastly, the FCSS Resource Centre, Foothills Community Counselling & Greater Foothills Family Centre will be closed from Friday, December 24th until January 3rd, reopening on January 4th for their regular hours.
