Spring is here...well sort of....

And on the occasional warm day that leads to melting, it's becoming evident that there's been plenty of pet owners in Okotoks who haven't picked up after their dogs over the winter.

Municipal Enforcement Team Leader, Tim Stobbs says this raises some concerns.



He says it's unfortunate as the town has made it so simple for people.



Stobbs says Okotoks does have a bylaw stating the dogs must be on a leash outside of the 'off-leash' area and they must be cleaned up after.

He says the fine for failing to do so is up to 150-dollars.
