The Eagle Street Team had the wonderful opportunity to visit Big Sky BBQ to watch the Second Annual Okotoks Idol contest! Presented by the Big Rock Singers, the event was a wonderful occasion with great food, drink, and of course wonderful musical talent! Everyone seemed to exit the event a winner! Admission was completely free for audience members; a great fun way to bring one's family out for a joyous night!

Talking with Gemma Ukno, the president of the Big Rock Singers, I was impressed by their love of music and the performances they showcase for the public. The society holds two shows a year, one for Christmas and a second normally during the spring. They encourage individuals of all ages to participate in the Third Annual Okotoks Idol contest in 2019! Also, if any musically inclined individuals eighteen and over are interested in being part of a stress-free musical community, the Big Rock Singers welcomes them! As a non-audition choir, they are holding registrations open until September 19.

Visit http://www.bigrocksingers.com/ if you would like more information on their community and be sure to check out the images from the event down below!
