The HJHL pre-season gets underway this weekend with a classic rivalry.

The Okotoks Bisons and the High River Flyers hit the ice this weekend for a home-and-home series.

The Bisons host the Flyers tonight at 8 o'clock at the Murray Arena and then the Flyers host the Herd tomorrow night at the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex.

Puck drop tomorrow is also at 8 p.m.

They Flyers were hoping to debut their new jerseys and logo this weekend, but the jerseys won't arrive until a bit later this month. However, the new logo is embedded in centre ice at the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex.
