Okotoks Mark Sutherland had lots to smile about Thursday night in Dawson Creek as he had the third fastest time of the night on night two of the "Battle of the North."

He moves into 10th spot with that time which gives him a shot with two nights of racing to go before the Sundays "Dash for Cash."

High River's Jason Glass had a better night as he was 10th on the night, but still sits 26th overall.

And a disasterous night for High River's Jordie Fike as he crushed a barrel, costing him five seconds as he was 32nd Thursday night and falls to 23rd in the aggregate.

Rae Croteau Jr. continues to lead the aggregate, with Luke Tournier and Evan Salmond right on his tail.

Gary Gorst and Cliff Cunningham round out the top five as they head into night three of racing Friday.
